Biography
Gregory J. Sarkisian is the founding partner of Sarkisian, Sarkisian & Associates, P.C., and has devoted his entire legal career to representing injured people and their families. He created the firm in October 1975 and has practiced plaintiffs’ personal injury law in Northwest Indiana ever since. Greg is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He is an active member of the American Association for Justice, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Top 100 for Indiana, and has been recognized by Super Lawyers.
Greg earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 1971, where he studied Business and Theater—an early combination of disciplines that reflects both his practical mindset and his comfort in the courtroom. He went on to attend Valparaiso University School of Law, graduating in 1975 and serving as a student–faculty representative during law school. Shortly after graduation, he opened the doors of what would become Sarkisian, Sarkisian & Associates, P.C., and has spent the past five decades building a practice focused on standing up for people who would not stand a chance against insurance companies on their own.
Greg became a lawyer “to help people,” and that motivation continues to drive his work. He believes that when someone has been genuinely harmed, they deserve unwavering advocacy—and he takes that responsibility personally. Known for his tenacity and refusal to give up, Greg approaches negotiation and litigation with a strategic, relentless mindset aimed at one goal: winning the best possible outcome for his clients. Clients can expect to feel cared for, fully informed, and confident that they chose the right lawyer. He prides himself on clear communication, straight answers, and being available when his clients need him, understanding that a case is not just a file—it is a person’s health, livelihood, and peace of mind.
Raised in Gary, Indiana, Greg has practiced in this region for more than 50 years and has deep roots in the local community. Outside the office, his greatest joy is spending time with his grandchildren, which he describes as his true purpose beyond the courtroom. When he is not working or with family, he enjoys traveling, especially to Costa Rica, Paris, and Barcelona.
